VILLA LA SELVA

Private villa on the hills of Signa, with swimming pool and an incredible view on the Arno valley.

Situated on the hills around Florence, facing the Arno valley and the surrounding hills, Villa La Selva , once a part of an ancient convent, has been restored maintaining the charme of old times, equipped with all moderns comfort. The wide garden, well cared and partially fenced, has a paved part, and a covered loggia, furnished with table and chairs, to have the possibility to organize pleasant dinners in the summer period. Near the house, there is a private swimming pool, furnished with sun beds. The villa, situated inside the Pandolfini’s property, is surrounded by olive trees and has a beautiful view of the town of Florence

The nearest village is Signa, at about 3 Km distance, where are all kind of shops and the train station, that connects to Florence centre, situated at about 5 Km, in 15/20 minutes. The well known touristic towns of Tuscany, such as Pisa, Siena, Lucca, are easily reachable in one hour driving.

The villa has been restored with lot of care, using the ancient materials, as exposed beams, cotto floors, and fireplaces in pietra serena stone. The furnishing respect the Tuscan style of the house, together with the precious fabrics, creating a warm ambience.

 At ground floor there are: entrance room, a double living room with fireplace, a second living room, a dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, a service bathroom. Passing through a door from the kitchen, you reach a dependence, that can used separately from the main house, composed by living room, kitchenette, double bedroom with private bathroom.

Going up a beautiful stone staircase, you reach the first floor, where are one wide double bedroom with two king size beds and a private bathroom with shower, three double bedrooms, one bedroom with french bed, one bathroom with bathtub, one living room with a beautiful ceramic heater.
